Refund policy

At Story Trunks, each diorama is thoughtfully hand-assembled with love and care. We want every child (and parent) to be delighted with their story box. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

Returns

  • We accept returns within 7 days of delivery.

  • To be eligible, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition you received them.

  • Custom or personalized dioramas (made to your child’s story, theme, or name) are non-returnable, unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email.

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If your diorama arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos.

  • We will offer either a replacement or a full refund, depending on the situation.

Exchanges

  • At this time, we don’t offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different design, please place a new order once your refund is processed.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at madebystorytrunks@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We’ll guide you through the next steps, including the return address.

  3. Safely package the diorama to avoid damage in transit.
